JP Morgan Chase

While working at Fjord / Accenture, we redesigned an internal software application for JP Morgan Chase that allowed their brokers to monitor trends over time across hundreds of portfolios. As the UX Design Lead, I collaborated closely with the account manager, art director, and visual designer to translate the financial data into data visualizations. The revised UI included a date picker, a historical time slider, automatic address entry fields, saved reports, and a responsive design.

HISTORICAL TIME PICKER

The historical time picker allows the user to monitor and compare trends over a specific period of time.

Organization of managers

In the interface, managers are tied to strategies. Once the user chooses a strategy, the managers dropdown will appear with the selected managers in that strategy. This method helps to control the amount of information shown and allows the user to easily select managers relevant to a particular strategy.

GRID SORTING

The user can view and compare multiple portfolios. The grid sorting behavior allows the user to show as much or as little detail as needed.

saving reports

The user can save reports after making their selections so that the data does not need to be entered again. Users can share a saved report with other users, or keep certain reports private.
